Causes and Symptoms
The exact causes of rhinophyma are unknown, but it is believed to be a result of untreated, severe cases of rosacea. Rhinophyma is most common in caucasian men between the ages of 50 and 70, and becomes worse if left untreated. Symptoms of rhinophyma include:
