Winnie Chau was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston where she majored in psychology and minored in business administration. She then went on to graduate from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) where she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. In addition to her PA education, Winnie completed two additional fellowships. She completed the Future Educator Fellowship with the Physician Assistant Education Association. She has also completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant (SDPA) Diplomate fellowship in dermatology.
She is board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant. She serves as a volunteer committee member for the SDPA Continue Medical Education (CME) committee where she assists in planning quality content for future conferences.
In her spare time, Winnie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys trying new cuisines, cooking, and playing tennis.
